Btw, I'm sorry if this seems rushed. It was a lot of story to fit into one song. I might create two other videos to go along with this one. Kind of like a prequel.

Plot: Zira, queen of the pridelands, gives birth to two healthy girls, Nala and Kiara. Her king, Mufasa, isn't thrilled about the idea of daughters and coldly refuses them as his heirs and daughters, suggesting killing them off. Zira argues against it and keeps them at her side. Mufasa has other plans however.

Nala and Kiara grow up ignored by their father but are given a happy upbringing by their mother. Both sisters cause mischief with each other and gain a strong bond with their mother. However, in the following weeks. Mufasa takes both cubs to the farthest and most dangerous boundaries of his lands and leaves them there to die.

Kala hears their cries for help as he abandons his daughters and she takes them in. Both are comforted and adopted by the gorilla whom recently lost her own child. She brings them to her group where her mate reluctantly accepts them in. Years go by and they become apart of the group, growing into two beautiful lionesses.

One day while the group is traveling close to the pridelands, Kiara is haunted by her memories of the place and wonders if she can rejoin her pride. She sneaks in but Zira spots her. At first they don't recognize each other but after a quick flashback they come to see that it's her long lost daughter and mother. They don't have time to reunite as Nala comes looking for her sister and Mufasa has caught wind of intruders.

Kiara pleads to know why he did what he did years ago but Mufasa ignores her questions is insistent on them leaving since they were banished. Zira pleads for him to let them rejoin. They argue until Zira manages to let him allow one of them to join. Kiara takes her new place in the pride and bids her sister and foster mother goodbye.

Months pass and Zira teaches Kiara the ways of the pride and how to be a successful princess/queen, should she ever take her fathers place. Both Kala and Nala come by for visits but one day turns out horribly wrong. Mufasa is nothing more than a vicious tyrant to his pride and Kala has come to fetch Kiara and take her with him. Mufasa argues with her and threatens her, Nala and Zira tell him to leave her alone while Kiara runs in to see what's happening. Mufasa readies to strike when Kiara runs over to block the attack and he ends up knocking her over. Nala attacks him and they fight. She knocks him off of her and he hangs to the ledge of a cliff.

Kiara tries to rescue him, even after everything he's done to her and the pride. He falls to his death and later that night, Zira steps down as queen and gives the throne to Kiara. Everyone reassures her and she ascends the rock to claim her throne but pauses before starting her reign. Nala rushes up and they do it together. Kala cries and Zira joins the pride in a unified roar. Nala comes to sit next to Kala as Kiara climbs down to rejoin the pride. Kala can't meet her eyes since she feels she's lost her little girl. But Kiara reassures her that she will always be her little cub and even has her mothers group join her and Nala in the pridelands.
