OKOndt GROUP presents our new development- wireless TOFD equipment for fast and reliable control of long welded joints - the TOFD Man system.
The equipment is used for TOFD inspection of welded joints of pipes, cisterns, metal containers, seams of ships' hulls, etc.
A special feature of this system is the wireless connection of TOFD scanner to a laptop or tablet, which are used for visualisation and analysis of online data.
Electronic modules are placed in the pockets of the utility vest. A person may use a carabiner to fasten the scanner to the vest while travelling. All of the above make the job of controlling welded seams easier and more comfortable, especially when carrying out high-altitude tasks. TOFD Man system significantly increases the productivity of NDT professionals.
The designs of the equipment and its dimensions allow the testing in hard-to-reach places, makes passing of the scanner from a specialist to an assistant without interruption of the testing process and provides an easy adjustment and replacement of TOFD probes in the field.
Employment of the digital signal transmission via WI-FI to connect the scanner and the devise, instead of long cables allows you to get a high signal-to-noise ratio and the opportunity for the operator to be in any place convenient.
