On Sega Dreamcast's 24th Anniversary, I revisit my involvement in what may have led to its ultimate demise.

Between 1997-1999, I worked deep in the trenches of retail (EB, Software Etc, Babbages, Game Crazy) helping to spread the word about Sega's new system. At the start of 1999, I wound up getting a job at one of the largest US retailers and getting the Dreamcast out for rental on 6/15/99, nearly two months before the official launch.

Yep! I was a real champion for the system back then...and how I likely had a key in its inevitable downfall and demise.
