Not far from where I live there is meadow that is grazed by cattle from early spring to late autumn. These commons are visited by egrets and woodpeckers and are home to many song birds and wood pigeons. I have come here many times during the lockdowns of the past year, and wrote this short orchestral piece to remember this place of ancient tranquillity and consolation. I hope you enjoy it
