“SUMBIRE” is a project we began in 2022, a song we poured our hearts into. With delicate, heartfelt lyrics exploring love, care, and playful affection between lovers, the flute and musical elements evoke a sense of nostalgia from childhood.

The video portrays the peaceful and beautiful lifestyle of the Tangkhul community in Manipur. Featuring Angel Shimray, a Tangkhul herself, the visuals feel even more authentic. The story follows a man who enters the woman’s world for work, but unexpectedly falls in love. Does she love him back? How are they connected? Where does their story lead? The video gently unravels these questions.
