This was not only my first time flying with Cathay Pacific, but also my very first time trying an Asian airline — on an international route between two amazing countries: Singapore and Hong Kong.

And yes, Hong Kong is technically a city-state, which made this whole experience even more unique.

I flew on their Airbus A330, and I’ll show you exactly what the experience was like.

From the cabin and seat to the surprisingly excellent meal service — yes, even in economy — including actual Häagen-Dazs ice cream, which totally caught me off guard.
Even though this flight isn’t long-haul, Cathay really impressed me with their attention to detail and hospitality.
