The early December cold snap has revealed a critical lack of heating capacity in the area. To resolve this, the Department of Networks is constructing an additional oil heating plant with expedited certification processes to ensure it becomes operational as soon as possible.

The government assures that the heating of other districts in Severna is not in jeopardy. A comprehensive inspection of the entire heating system will be conducted to prevent similar issues elsewhere. In the meantime, the radio station in Estervern is coordinating housing for affected citizens, while vulnerable individuals will be accommodated in gyms and schools across Severna.

The Council of Networks apologizes for this oversight. To help alleviate the discomfort, the fabric factory in Ostervern is dedicating 60% of its production to blankets, duvets, and thick pajamas, which will be available at no cost to citizens from Estervern.
