Partnerships for Change: Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities
Watch how the Social Lab and SMaRT Village model is empowering youth especially women and marginalized groups in peripheral regions of Pakistan to turn their ideas into inclusive social enterprises, foster community cohesion, and drive sustainable economic growth.
Nine youth-led social enterprises from Swat graduated from the Social Lab, a social impact incubator. Through the Education 4.0 framework, 46 participants received future-ready technical and soft skills training in social entrepreneurship. As part of the peace and resilience dividend, essential goods and metorship was provided to all nine enterprises, enabling them to operationalize their business ideas in Gulibagh, a community of 17,000+ people and transform it into a SMaRT Village.
Funded by the European Union, executed by UNODC Pakistan and NACTA, and implemented by Hashoo Foundation in partnership with KPCVE and the University of Swat.
