In this lesson, we look at the difference between verbs of perception (e.g. hear, see, watch, listen, etc.) that are followed by gerunds (the continuous form) and ones that are followed by infinitives (in this case, base verb form). For instance, we will look at the difference between the following two examples: 'I saw the children play' and 'I saw the children playing'.
