We received a call from a family in town who had found a baby howler monkey in their garden. He was running across the grass, and they were grateful that the dogs hadn't attacked him!
These monkeys are especially delicate when they are babies and need a lot of care! It is common that they don't survive without their mother.
We have called him Ambrosio and he will be the first howler monkey to arrive at ONCA.
