Since 2007, the Strategic Energy Technology Plan – known as the SET Plan - facilitates cooperation in the development of clean, sustainable and cost-competitive energy technologies across Europe. This EU-national policy tool has become THE framework in Europe to build synergies between national and European R&I priorities and funding. The SET Plan identifies gaps and proposes actions to deliver the technologies needed to help Europe meet its 2030 and 2050 climate-neutrality goals.
