Hello friends and welcome back to the farm.
It is June, it is winter and many things are slowly becoming dormant and even the few leaves that were determinedly clinging to the branches now have to let get go with the cold winter winds that are beginning to frequent our days.
I’m happy to show you the end result of the curtain my mom crocheted a few weeks before. We found the perfect spot for it and it gives us so much pleasure to see it hanging there. She also made me a blue, I guess it is kind of a snood.

Our hens have started laying eggs again and I had to put out some extra nests. I also made an oil infusion with my own calendula flowers from this season that I dried. I was able to harvest to tops of the young nettles and dried them for tea.
The lambing season has not ended yet and every other day sees a new little lamb or lambs being born.
The foster lambs are all doing well, but it is a lot of work to feed them those bottles every day. There are things that constantly demand our attention here on the farm and you cannot afford to neglect them.
