Описание: This video displays pruning carried out manually with pruning saws in commercial pine plantation stands. Pruning is the removal of branches from the stem so that knot-free timber is grown and supplied to the sawmill. Low pruning (2-3m) is mainly conducted for access, in addition high pruning (3 - 7m) results in knot free timber. For good pruning, the branches need to be cut flush with the stem of the tree.
