🔵 Extend the presidential term from five to seven years (potentially allowing President Emmerson Mnangagwa to remain in office until 2030),
🔵Introduce wider governance reforms.

The bill was gazetted and opened a 90-day public consultation period, but it has drawn significant opposition, with critics arguing that it undermines democratic norms and should be subject to a referendum before adoption.
