Religion in Iraq (Republic Of Iraq) is characterized by a diversity of religious beliefs and practices. Iraq (Republic Of Iraq) has centres of worship for a multitude of faiths. It is one of the Religious country in the Asia. Iraq (Republic Of Iraq) has about (99.833%) Believer population which is extremely High as compared to Other Asian Countries. According to the Census 2022 AD. Islam is the largest religion in the Iraq (Republic Of Iraq) with (96.09%). The Second largest growing religion is Yazidism with (1.28%) along with the Third largest religion in Christianity with (1.15%) that forms Predominantly various Roman Catholic Churches (Catholicism),minor are Protestant Churches (Protestanism) along with such as Anglicanism, and many others etc,. But there is also a small but growing number of Iraqi are those who belongs to No Religion Affiliations/Category (which includes Deism, Atheism, Agnosticism, Non-theism, Secular humanism along with No Response) with (0.164%). Others remaining includes Yarsanism, Shabakism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Sikhism & many etc. The Iraq (Republic Of Iraq) is now Muslim majority (Muslim Nation) but in Future it will remain Muslim Majority. Other Religions are also on growing. The Iraqi Government recognizes Islam as it's Official Religion. Iraq (Republic Of Iraq) had Judaism for an ancient times since Babylon Civilization.
Iraq (Republic Of Iraq) has also many Spiritual Places for Muslims like Karbala, Najaf and many others etc.
Since Iraq War, many Minority religions (Mostly Christians & Mandaeans) migrated to other countries as Refuges to USA, Canada etc.

Iraq (Republic Of Iraq) has Non-Muslim population (3.746%) which is religious affiliated to other religions which is Low as compared to total population.
There are also small ethno-religious minority populations of Mandaeans, Shabaks, Yarsan and Yezidis remaining. Prior to 2003 their numbers together may have been 1.5 million, the majority Yarsan, a non-Islamic religion with roots in pre-Islamic and pre-Christian religion.
Mosul is the principal holy site of the Yazidi faith. The Holiest Yazid shrine is that of Sheikh Adi located at the necropolis of Lalish.
The Mandaean faith is commonly known as the last surviving Gnostic religion. John the Baptist, known as Yahia Yuhanna, is considered to have been the final Mandaean prophet and first true Ris'Amma, or Ethnarch, of the Mandaean people. Most Iraqi Mandaeans live near waterways because of the practice of total immersion (or baptism) in flowing water every Sunday. The highest concentrations are in Amarah, Nasiriyah and Basra. Besides these southern regions and Ahvaz in Iran.
