The eye appears to be fully separate from the rest
of the body, yet also seems to be connected...
it's a lot like those triangles, so maybe whatever
keeps those connected with the rest of the body is
also what connects the eye?

Unlike the common counterpart, this rare seems
much more aggressive in nature. The durability of
the rock both forms are seemingly made of,
alongside this form's strength and appearance of
spikes, could suggest that this monster was
initially here to protect the area.
