Описание: Walter Van Brunt (as Walter Scanlan) sings "My Melancholy Baby" on Edison Diamond Disc 50923-R, which I believe was recorded 28 October 1914. This was originally recorded on disc matrix 3387-C but issued only as Blue Amberol cylinder 2542 (dubbed) in March 1915 and not issued on disc until 1922. I assume that the disc uses the 1914 recording, since the -C suffix on the matrix number indicates that it was from the first (possibly only) recording session for this artist/title combination (later takes would have letters higher than -C).
