Qing Dynasty, there were three blind artist communities, namely Beijing Dongcheng Big Buddhist Temple "Public Hall", NaiZiFu "Wuben Hall", DongBiaoBei east alley "Xinyi Hall", which were the properties of the previous generation.They were devoted to musical playing and singing as a way of making a living, often times also being as fortune tellers. It's safer to perform in front of "Palace House", especially for female dependents. The social "Sanxian" artists took a secret approach in rehearsing with doors closed, without any exposure to the outsiders. In AixinjueluoYuhuan's father's words, Yuhan'sSanxian art was an exchange to the silver coins that could be as high as his body.
