The Forestry Economics series will look at what influences the decision of when to cut down a forest and the non-market values that should be considered to create an economically efficient system. This video looks at what policy makers can do to slow the pace of forest loss and degradation. Topics covered in this series include stumpage value, growth rate, maximum sustainable revenue, average and incremental growth, and opportunity cost.
