Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable is the EPCOT short that brought Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa into the Harvest Theater at The Land pavilion starting in 1995. Blending new animation with live-action footage (including material repurposed from EPCOT’s 1982 film Symbiosis), the story follows Timon & Pumbaa’s plan to build “Hakuna Matata Lakeside Village” until Simba steps in to show how our choices impact the planet. Running time is about 12 minutes.
