Supersample! Plinky is not only an incredible sounding Synth but also a granular sampler. I had this idea to create one sample that already has different elements for a piece in it. So in the end you have these 8 columns of touchpoints on the plinky that each represent one of the 8 slices. By sliding vertically, you can scrub through each slice. The middle slices contain several notes that I hoped fit well together. So the samples are not pitched up or down but only scrubbed. Does that make sense? Is that a known technique? I like it very much as you can basically prepare a whole track within a few seconds of audio. This idea I'll have to come back to! You read all that? I love you! 😘
