Do you want to improve your drawing skills? Do you want to develop shading and blending skills? Develop your ideas from a tracing paper drawing and learn to use a viewfinder.
This is a demonstration as part of a scheme of work based on drawing skills. The theme of this project is tools. This is lesson two. I will be using this with my year 8 students.

I show you how select a section of your image, how to draw it out using a grid, then how to extend the lines and add shading. Use a variety of lines and tones to develop your skills.
Equipment needed- your tracing paper line drawing, a view finder, masking tape, a fine-liner and pencil.
