I-97 Southbound (End-to-End)

Описание: Traveling southbound on Interstate 97 from its northern terminus on I-695 north of Glen Burnie to its southern terminus on US-50 (unsigned I-595) near Annapolis.

At just under eighteen miles in length and only serving one county in one state (Anne Arundel County, Maryland), Interstate 97 is the shortest mainline (two-digit, not three-digit / spur) interstate in the entire interstate highway system.
MD-3 was originally supposed to be upgraded to interstate standards and signed as "Interstate 297", but this plan ultimately fell through.
The portion of I-97 from I-695 southward to MD-3 Business is sometimes referred to as the "Glen Burnie Bypass".
