Experiences with the Open edX platform for online and hybrid learning

Описание: This Open edX Conference 2022 session presented by UC3M outlines the use of the Open edX platform in several countries within Europe and Latin America. These experiences include the use of the Open edX platform to offer MOOCs through Campus MOOC-Maker, to offer SPOCs (Small Private Online Courses), and implement flipped classroom strategies, to support the transition to emergency remote teaching during COVID-19 pandemic, or to implement hybrid learning (e.g. as part of the European Virtual Exchange initiative). In addition, specific developments in the Open edX platform to increase students’ engagement through gamification and to increase teachers and students’ awareness through learning analytics will also be presented. Finally, the use of the Open edX platform for teacher training will be addressed in this session, as a part of the PROF-XXI project.
