Video footage taken by Adventures on the Gorge, the company we booked our rafting tour with June of 2016. This is the Lower New River in the New River Gorge in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Water levels were still pretty good in June and the temps made it possible for us to swim between rapids.
The river guides at Adventures on the Gorge are exceptional and the whole rafting crew makes the event fun and memorable. I highly recommend Adventures on the Gorge if you plan on rafting in the area. The package we got was $139 per person which included the rafting trip, 2 nights of camping (bring your own tent), buffet breakfast, lunch on the river, and a buffet dinner. A fantastic deal in my opinion!
There's some pretty shaky, almost dizzying, B-roll footage taken by the camera operator but the rafting footage turned out really good. Aside from our GoPro's it was the only option for getting the event on video. I'll be posting some GoPro footage soon.
