First stop was Riyadh. where we visited historical Diriyah, the Sky Bridge and Fort Masmak. In the evenings we spent entertaining hours at Riyad Boulevard and Riyadh World. Make sure that you have tickets for the latter....

With a rental car we made our way through the desert to visit Al Hofuf, with its fascinating Al Qaisariah Souq and the Al Quarah mountains and caves. An absolute must when being in the area.

The highlight of every Saudia Arabia trip is Al Ula, which was our next stop. Join us here for sightseeing at Dadan, Jamal Ikmah, Maraya and Hegra. Don't miss a walk through the Old Town and check out the views at the Harret viewpoint. We stayed at the fantastic Banyan Tree and also had a pool stop at the Habitas hotel.

On the way to Tabuk with our rental car, we stopped at the Wadi Al Disah, where a local boy drove us through the wadi with a 50 year old Landcruiser.

Last, but not least, we spend a few days in Jeddah, where we visited the largest museum of the country, the Tayebat museum, and Al-Balad, the historical area of the city. A walk along the Jeddah corniche concluded our trip to Saudi Arabia.
