Autumn already sets in Tromsø in August. It is time for nature colors to shift from green to yellow, orange, and red. Fresh snow appears on mountain tops, and the air becomes crisp.
We, in Tromsø Guide, absolutely love this season of the year and happily take our our guests on a tour to show the fjords and arctic nature of Kvaløya ("Whale Island") island. The island ranks as Norway's fifths largest island and offers spectacular scenery with tall mountains, crystal clear blue waters, and white sand beaches.
