The double screw vise, also known as the Moxon vise, is a bench appliance that's at least hundreds of years old and more than likely predates the single screw vise. But what is its story? This one has a story, and we go a little into the history of it. We'll also explore why this might be better than the single screw carpenter vise...and why we should move back to it.
