In Bulandshahr, a celebratory firing led to a tragic accident when a bullet struck 8-year-old Riyansh Soni. On 19th February 2026, Riyansh was watching a wedding ceremony from his balcony in Sunar Wali Gali. Downstairs, 16-year-old Krishna Verma, allegedly encouraged by his father, fired multiple rounds in the air with a licensed gun, one of which hit Riyansh. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital by his father and later shifted to Fortis Hospital, Noida. Riyansh is currently in critical condition.
