Painting General Slim's 'Forgotten Army' - Sikh Troops in Burma [How I Paint Things]

Описание: The 14th Army was made of men from Great Britain, India, and Africa, sent to Burma to resist the onslaught of the Imperial Japanese Army. General Slim's Forgotten Army was overlooked by press of the time and in many publications since as a sideshow to the 'real war' taking place in the ETO, MTO and the Russian front - a real feat considering the 14th Army represented the largest combined army in the Commonwealth and one of the largest in operation in the world.

The Sikhs that fought as part of Slim's Army did so with distinction and valour, many continuing to wear their famed turbans in the field. Painting them is quick and simple, and will add some real variety to your armies on the tabletop!

THE BASE: PVA and sand followed by a dark brown paint. Static grass, then tufts and clump foliage soaked through with PVA to make it dry rock hard.
