Getting up from the toilet has been a bit of a struggle. My wrist or hand muscles have weakened a bit, making pushing up from the ground harder to perform. While I still can, I must use my cheek bone to help hold my head on the table while I lift my arm up.
I don’t use much muscle to help me perform this maneuver. I really rely on my joints to support me while I shift my weight from side to side until I can push myself up.
My hands cannot be dry or wet. They need to be somewhere in between. I use baby wipes before I get up to help the hands be at that ideal moisture. Never did this before. I found it helps prevent the hand from slipping while I push through the wrists.
