On Christmas Eve 2024, Pope Francis opened a Holy Year, known as the Jubilee of Hope, or Pilgrims of Hope. Celebrated in the Church since the 1300s and traditionally held every 25 years, a Jubilee invites the faithful to rediscover hope, even amid the struggles and challenges of our world today

Throughout this Jubilee Year, pilgrims from around the world traveled to Rome to walk through the Holy Doors, experiencing renewal, mercy, and joy. Here in our diocese, we now come together to mark the conclusion of the Jubilee of Hope on January 4 at the 12:00 PM Mass at Saint Augustine Cathedral.
As we close this sacred year, we remain pilgrims of hope, still longing for peace and justice in our world. We invite you to join us in prayer, reflection, and celebration.
