Deep in the shadows of the Pine Barrens, I set out to track one of America’s oldest and most terrifying legends—the Jersey Devil. In this episode, I visit the crumbling foundation of the Leeds Mother’s house, explore a historic village tied to the region’s eerie past, and walk the so-called Jersey Devil’s feeding grounds before pushing miles into the wilderness after dark. Armed with night vision cameras and full cryptid hunting gear, I sweep the treeline, listen for unnatural screams in the distance, and search for movement in the pitch-black forest where the Devil is said to stalk. If the legend is real, this is exactly where it would be hiding.
