Fires of Passion is the 15th CBS Copperfield TV special, introduced from Caesars Palace. This rope escape is pretty cool and although often described as influenced by Houdini (of course), I can't help but think of Alan Alan who performed the same effect on an easier DC show.
I really wish someone could produce a DVD boxset of specials. They contain impossibly great magic and although dated now, at the time, were simply the best filmed magic shows by miles.
