Join me for Day 2 of my November 2025 javelina scouting trip in Arizona Hunt Units 34A and 34B, just south of Tucson. This area has tons of potential—rugged hillsides, thick desert vegetation, and plenty of classic javelina habitat.
On this trip I was able to locate several promising glassing areas and vantage points that I’ll return to during my January hunt. While moving through the washes, draws, and slopes, I did find a bit of javelina sign… but most of it was old, showing the herds hadn’t been in that spot recently.
Unfortunately, the weather rolled in earlier than expected and I had to cut the trip short, but it was still a productive day of learning new terrain and narrowing down possible setups for January.
