New Orleans Weather: Cold weather returns for a few days

The winter chill is back for the next few days. Expect a chilly and windy Wednesday with temperatures in the mid-50s. Winds will be gusty out of the northwest, blowing up to 30 mph. Tonight will be clear and cold, with a light freeze possible north of the lake. The Southshore will stay in the low 40s.
Thursday will be cool in the 50s still with plenty of sunshine. Friday looks beautiful, with temperatures in the 60s and partly cloudy skies.
Our next chance for rain arrives this weekend, but it doesn't look like much. I expect a few showers later on Saturday, but that's about it. Expect a warmer weekend in the low 70s.
Next week a weak cool front approaches later Monday into Tuesday bringing another chance for a few showers.
