Last September, we spent our honeymoon canoeing through Isle Royale National Park one of the most remote and wild places in the lower 48.
Over the course of 6–7 days, we paddled across open water, carried canoes over long portages, set up camp deep in the backcountry, and disconnected completely from roads, cell service, and everyday life. It was quiet, beautiful, and the perfect way for us to start our marriage.
This video isn’t a guide or a gear breakdown it’s just our experience canoeing Isle Royale in September and what it felt like to spend our honeymoon in total wilderness.
