Everyone got out okay (no pets), no injuries.
Outside fire caught the house on fire while the homeowner was home. Hot and dry weather with wind made for a fast moving fire. First unit to arrive was a brush truck because the original call was for a brush fire next to the structure.
That however quickly changed! this was rural water supply fire but at a waterfront home. Two Fireboats responded from Maryland which is across the Potomac River and assisted multiple volunteers from Westmoreland County stations.
