The first-ever Special Forces Challenge (SFC) event by SOCOM Athlete is officially complete. Congratulations to the 20+ students that qualified for an 18X contract with 19th Special Forces Group by exceeding the standards on the APFT and the 12 mile ruck march evaluation w/ 45 lbs!

A huge thank you to Medal of Honor recipient MSG Earl Plumlee for serving as the SFC event special guest speaker and sharing your story with us.

The first-ever SFC event took place in San Clemente, CA, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton on SAT 27 APR 2024, partnered with 19th Special Forces Group of the California Army National Guard.

The SFC event is 100% free to attend, and is open to current military members, cadets, and civilians ages 16+ that are pursuing a military career in special operations. The event features an APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test), 12 mile ruck march evaluation with 45 lbs, mentorship from Green Berets, challenging team exercises, special guest speakers and Q&A with recruiters.
