Deleting Multiple Clips at Once with Shotcut

Doggy Bag Productions here, bringing you a brief but hopefully useful tutorial on how to delete multiple clips from your track, at once!
Maybe not quite the holy grail of Shotcut, but since one can only select one clip at a time, chances are you have come across this situation already, and wondered how can I remove all these 50 clips from my track in one shot?
Well, fortunately there is a way!

Very special thanks to sauron. He is the reason behind this video actually. One day I had this very same question (How to delete many clips at once?) and he kindly explained this "work-around idea", at the Shotcut forum. So big kudos to him!
