Описание: Tomorrow, February 2nd at 3PM, Buddhist monks complete Day 100 of their historic 2,300-mile Walk for Peace in Richmond, Virginia. After 99 days walking through 6 states in brutal winter conditions, they arrive at Capitol Square for a Peace Rally that the world is watching.

🎯 WHY THIS MATTERS:

Yesterday in Petersburg, VA, THOUSANDS waited up to 6 hours in freezing cold just to witness the monks pass by. Families with babies. Elderly in wheelchairs. Rotary Clubs brought heaters because people refused to leave.

A woman named Heather Martin drove twice in one day to see them. She wrote: "The emotion of being in their presence is indescribable. You see love in everyone's eyes and realize peace is really what we all need."

This isn't about religion. This is about humanity remembering what we've forgotten: that peace is possible. That gentleness is strength. That silence speaks louder than shouting.

👤 MEET THE LEADER:

Venerable Bhikkhu Pannakara - Former Motorola engineer, University of Texas at Arlington graduate. Left the corporate world to dedicate his life to walking for peace. Each morning he says: "Today will be my peaceful day."

Some monks, including Bhikkhu Pannakara, walk BAREFOOT despite winter temperatures dropping to the teens.

🐕 ALOKA THE PEACE DOG:

A stray dog rescued in India now travels with the monks (currently recovering from surgery). Aloka has become a global symbol of compassion for all beings.
