Every seasonal change in Korea, many families take part in something called “Daechungso”... a big seasonal clean meant to reset the home after winter.
After months of closed windows, heavy bedding, and cozy indoor living, the idea is simple:
open the house, wash the fabrics, clean deeply, and start fresh.
So I decided to try it.
In this video, I’m testing a Korean-style spring reset in my own home.
From airing out bedding and opening windows to tackling floors, dust, and the small corners we ignore all winter, I wanted to see if this seasonal reset would actually make a difference.
Some parts felt surprisingly simple.
Other parts were… a lot.
But by the end, my house – and honestly my mood – felt completely different.
If your home feels a little heavy after winter, this might be the reset you need too.
