Pepper Chaar, also known as South Indian Pepper Rasam, is a traditional comfort dish made with black pepper, cumin, tamarind, and tomatoes.

📝 Ingredients
• Black pepper – 2 tablespoons
• Cumin seeds (Jeera) – 1 tablespoon
• Dry red chillies – 4–5
• Curry leaves – 3 sprigs
• Small onions – ¼
• Garlic cloves – 4–5
• Tomatoes – 2
• Tamarind – 50 grams (soaked in 1 glass of water)
• Mustard seeds – 1 tablespoon
• Oil – 1 teaspoon
• Asafoetida (Hing) – 1 tablespoon
• Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
• Salt – as per taste
• Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish
• Water - 1 glass
👉 Tip: Once the rasam starts boiling, turn off the flame immediately to retain the authentic flavor.
