Burbank Airport, officially the 'Hollywood/Burbank Airport,' is a popular airport because it is much smaller and less complicated than the International LAX. Amazingly this little spot was opened in 1930. It was previously called the 'Bob Hope' Airport. (Sadly, do many know who he was?)
Work has started on a 1.1 billion dollar upgrade on this facility. It will be moved to an area on the premises, see the map in the video. I highlight some of the changes that will happen, and a few things that will remain the same.
Also I videoed the new versions of the off and on ramps from the 5 freeway, which we call the Golden State Freeway. It just shows some of the newer transitions available and accessible.
