Описание: Periphery - The Bad Thing drum cover. First of all, I graduated from high school last night so I am officially a college student! It's also summer so I am very happy to have free time to record more drum videos. I miss having this much time to devote to music and intend to use this time wisely.

"The Bad Thing" is definitely one of my favorite songs. It's intense, groovy, fun, complex, interesting, different, angry, happy, asiufhiuafhi this song is so epic I don't think there are enough adjectives in the English language to describe it. There are so many unique grooves in this song that were all so tasteful. Everything had a purpose and the song progression was just astonishingly well done. By the end of the song, as you probably noticed, I had goosebumps lining my arms and a ferocious desire to strike my drum set as hard as possible.

Songs like this are what make me a better drummer and I'm very eager to cover more of Matt Halpern's beastly drum tracks. Periphery is one of my favorite bands for sure. Also, I recently bought and implemented new tom heads, I think Evans G2 or something so hopefully they sound good. Audio recorded using my Presonus Studiolive 16.0.2 mixer and edited on Garageband.
