When I had first taken the train ride to Melbourne, I hadn't originally intended to stop at South Yarra station on the way but I had a hunch that I should give it a go - after all, why not? It had given me a chance to look around the streets and see the auburn autumn leaves drift from the trees onto the pavement below, and even then, I had already recorded plenty of footage of my walks around Melbourne. In a way, it was rediscovering places that I thought were familiar to me before. The walk lasted far longer and stretched out more than I had thought it had, with me starting at South Yarra, passing the Royal Botanic Gardens, walking through Fawkner Park, crossing the historic Morell Bridge, the Main Yarra Trail (and passing AAMI Park & Olympic Park Oval), the Collingwood Club Shop, Melbourne Park (where the Australian Open is located), the Birrarung Marr, stopped at the Federation Bells (a small art gallery which I was able to capture footage of the bells chiming), walking down Flinders Street then going all the way down to Melbourne Central.
