Описание: Here is my Miami vs Ohio State Cotton Bowl reaction. Miami stuns Ohio State in a 24-14 classic filled with defense and several sudden changes in momentum. Mario Cristobal moves on to 2-0 vs Ryan Day, and he has beaten Day because his roster construction better fits college football's meta than Day's. Sure, having elite skill players like Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith is great to have, and epic defensive backfield talent helps, too. However, having elite offensive linemen and a consistent stream of NFL defensive linemen and pass rushers is preffered in today's game of limited possessions and defenses adapting to the spread. Rueben Bain Jr and Akheem Mesidor murdered Luke Montgomery, Carson Hinzman, Austin Siereveld, and Julian Sayin all day, and Miami's running backs and receivers were more physical than Ohio State's. That, plus the pick-six, caused Miami's victory.
