Model Railroad JOHNSON CITY RAILROAD EXPERIENCE Little Saluda grade & Rep Harshbarger's Visit TRAIN

Описание: A quick update from the end of March from the Johnson City Railroad experience. the new Museum located in Johnson City, Tennessee. we had a busy month here as work is ongoing on all of our layouts. one big change happened right toward the end of the month when little Saluda grade was put in on the HO scale layout owned by the Mountain Empire model railroaders. though very steep and really used only for downgrade. it allowed operators to now run trains between the upper and lower levels. layout work is progressing on this and on the et&wnc Tweetsie model circa 1925 in HOn3. meanwhile our local congresswoman Diane harshbarger was in town for a number of purposes and was able to stop in and see the ongoing work at the Museum. she proved to have a solid understanding of the transportation infrastructure in North America and had actually gone up and looked at the construction repair work being done by CSX in the Nolachucky Gorge. We are hoping she's able to make another visit and she was impressed with the quality of the work we are doing here and the professional appearance of our new Museum.
