At the Public Sector Challenge: London Bridges Walk, we chatted with Colin Jackson CBE, Olympic silver medalist, and Jonathan Stephenson, founder of the Public Sector Challenge and Joint Chief Executive at Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council.
They reflect on the joy, relief and sense of achievement felt by walkers crossing the finish line - a fitting end to the largest Public Sector Challenge to date, with more than 1,000 participants taking on 16 bridges from Hammersmith to Tower Bridge in support of Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and the British Heart Foundation.
Colin also shared an exclusive - he’s already looking ahead and hopes to attend the next Public Sector Challenge event in Shropshire, continuing his support for a challenge that brings together physical activity, mental wellbeing and community.
