Delicious Flower Cake by Carel Schenk (Floral Design Demo!)

Описание: Creating Floral Cakes is one of the most fun things to do!
In this video, Carel shows you how to make one with a different twist!

For this arrangement Carel used the new biodegradable floral foam from Oasis!

In this case the Chrysanthemum were glued on the cake, to make it faster and easier. However, if you want the cake to last as long as possible, you should stick the flowers with the stems in to the Oasis. Of course, the Oasis will have to be wet!

Carel did it this way, because he didn't want the cake to become super heavy, as it was such a big arrangement. He wanted to be sure that his special cake stand gifted by his friend wouldn't get damaged.

Making the cake like this will still last for quit a while though, because Chrysanthemum are incredibly strong flowers!
